The technology at the library sure has changed since I started working here. When I started we didn't have computers yet. We stamped due date cards and typed paper cards and overdue notices.
Computers have replaced the card catalogs, and we now do everything on our computers. We now are able to find magazine articles, download books and movies, and make donations to the OPL foundation on our computers.
I just recently bought a new cell phone and have started texting my family. I do my banking and a lot of my shopping on the internet. My kids helped me set up a my space earlier this year.
Technology is changing so fast!
